GN vs Ford
The GN vs. Ford Shootout comes to Thunder Valley on Saturday, November 7, bringing a classic brand rivalry to the track for a racer-organized head-to-head showdown.
This event is built around close competition, with qualifying times used to pair racers against their closest ET opponent for official match races.

Open to Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac, and GMC vehicles, plus any vehicle powered by an LS or LT engine platform regardless of body style.

Racing on the full 1/4-mile
All classes will use a standard .400 Pro Tree start. Racers will be paired by their closest qualifying times, with the slower-qualified vehicle receiving lane choice.
Sponsor awards and payouts will be announced as additional event sponsors come on board.
The GN vs. Ford Shootout is a volunteer-organized event created by racers, for racers. Whether you’re coming to compete, chase a personal best, or watch the rivalry play out from the stands, make plans to join us at Thunder Valley on November 7.

The rescheduled PSRA Wally Race and Super Street Shootout return to Thunder Valley on Saturday, November 14, and this time Playground Outlaws is joining the action with family-friendly Power Wheels drag racing.

PLAYGROUND OUTLAWS
Playground Outlaws brings Power Wheels drag racing to Thunder Valley for young racers ages 2–10. Their program features family-friendly, safe street-style racing designed to introduce kids to competition, hands-on learning, and the racing community.
Tiny cars. Big attitude. Built for speed, born to run.

TEXAS MUSCLE CAR CLUB CHALLENGE
TMCCC is one of the largest club-against-club racing series in the country, regularly bringing together a strong field of muscle cars and racers from across the region.
Sunday wraps up the TMCCC weekend at Thunder Valley with another full day of club-against-club racing.

TMCCC Racing + PMRA
Thunder Valley welcomes back the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge for Day 1 of a two-day race weekend, joined Saturday by PMRA for their rescheduled Wally Race.
TEXAS MUSCLE CAR CLUB CHALLENGE
TMCCC is one of the largest club-against-club racing series in the country, regularly bringing together a strong field of muscle cars and racers from across the region.
Saturday is Day 1 of the TMCCC weekend, with racing continuing Sunday, October 25.
PMRA WALLY RACE MAKE-UP
PMRA will also be on track Saturday, making up the Wally Race originally scheduled for October 3.

Rocky Mountain Race Week
Rocky Mountain Race Week is coming to Thunder Valley Dragstrip on Monday, October 5 for Day 2 RaceWeek 2026!
Come out and catch an incredible mix of street cars, race cars, and long-haul drag-and-drive builds as they make their stop at Thunder Valley.

PMRA
PMRA returns to Thunder Valley on October 3rd for a full day of racing and family activities.
The event is planned to feature roll racing, minibike racing, kids’ activities, and additional attractions throughout the day. A 16-and-under minibike bracket class is planned, with the possibility of outlaw minibike racing depending on participation.

Spectators $10
Racers $40 at the gate.
All class entry fees will be paid to Chad at his trailer

Two events. One action-packed night at Thunder Valley Dragstrip. The Professional Motorcycle Racing Association brings high-speed motorcycle competition to the dragstrip while Battle for the Belt delivers its own intense car-racing showdown. These are two separate events sharing one exciting race day—giving fans twice the action from bikes and cars on Saturday, August 8.
